When we see a base ball player we get astonished to see their size and shape as they are so huge and seem dangerous. They are stronger as well as larger than the key sportsmen of the early thirties and late seventies.
Mr. Ruth was the furthermost great striker who ever survived but was a huge man but with comparatively smaller muscle along with a gigantic tummy as measured up with the today’s base ball players. Even the best base ball teams were not able to make scores which today’s average base ball team makes.
The reason for this improvement may be credited to the weight lifting and the use of steroids which the players make these days. But is the use of steroids justified for making huge scores comprising of several home runs. The answer may be debatable one as the use may increase the excitement in the game but on the other hand it may hurt the true spirit of the game and also harm the health of the base ball players.
The main reason illustrated by the base ball players who buy steroids is that every other individual use it. Moreover the regular visiting of gym and lifting heavy weights is necessary for the game as it becomes easy to hit the home runs. But for this improvement and without the use of steroids it is impossible as when the muscles have to lift excess load, they tear away and for its repair the use of steroids is essential.
